Edinburgh Tattoo – 2nd to 24th August 2013

Against the world famous backdrop of the Edinburghnburgh Castle  Edinburg Edinburgh  , Tattoo, 2^nd to 24^th  August 2013  will feature awe-inspiring variety from the four corners of the globe.  Discover highlights of events and facts abou the bands and performers over the years.  There is so much to do and see in Edinburgh, at any time of the year, but during the Edinburgh Tattoo, there is so much more to see.

From its early days, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has been an international favourite. Performers from over 40 countries have presented here, and around 35 per cent of the 217,000 audience each year are from overseas.  In addition, the Tattoo has been televised in 30 countries. An annual television audience of 100 million watches the coverage worldwide. The international flavour of the Tattoo has been deliberately developed as a key element in its capacity to entertain a huge, cosmopolitan audience.
